These birds were easy to hear but difficult to locate as they stayed near the center of the tree where they were resting. This made photographing them extremely difficult.

There is a small established population of these birds along the coast in Hernando County, FL. These birds were photographed a few miles west of Weeki Wachee on April 18, 2005.
