This bird was photographed at the small Katama Airport on Martha's Vineyard on August 17, 2004.  
This is the first North American record for the species.


Did this guy register?

Although a blurry picture, this shows the spread tail with barred outer retrices.

Showing why it is named "Red-footed".

This bird loved to perch on sign at the small airport.
