Lower Rio Grande Valley Trip

From February 20 - 26 I had the pleasure of birding the Lower Rio Grande Valley with my wife, Kelly, and Amy Hooper, the editor of WildBird.  This trip was a result of my winning the Birder of the Year award from WildBird magazine.  I wish to thank WildBird, Bushnell, and the other sponsors who made this trip possible (The Alamo Inn, The Brown Pelican Inn, and Colley's Fins to Feathers).  Unfortunately, every day was extremely cloudy making poor conditions for quality pictures.  All photos were taken with a Canon EOS-20D camera and a 400mm lens (sometimes with a 1.4x teleconverter).
